Welcome to the Meliva MVZ Westpfalz Orthopedic Clinic. Our joint practice aims to provide patients with comprehensive conservative and surgical orthopedic treatment and trauma surgery. This interdisciplinary collaboration between various specialists enables patients to access a wide range of treatments for musculoskeletal conditions and pain management.

Monday to Friday from 08:00-09:00 AM as well as Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 02:00-03:00 PM.

In Germany, a Durchgangsarzt (or D-Arzt for short) is a specialist engaged by statutory health insurance providers to monitor and coordinate the treatment of accidental injuries. In essence, they work as an accident insurance consultant. If you have an accident in the workplace or while commuting, you will usually have to consult a D-Arzt in order to access treatment covered by statutory health insurance.
A D-Arzt has specific expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and aftercare of accidental injuries and will work closely with your statutory health insurance provider and other specialists to ensure you receive the best possible care and support during your recovery.
