Meliva Orthopedics Landstuhl is an interdisciplinary practice for orthopedics and trauma surgery in the Landstuhl Health Center and is part of the Meliva MVZ Westpfalz. The medical team, led by Dr. Halid Toric—a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery and an authorized physician for the statutory accident insurance (D-Arzt)—and Marcus Fischer, a specialist in orthopedics, offers conservative, surgical, and rehabilitative treatments for the entire musculoskeletal system.

A special focus is on the treatment of work and commuting accidents by the D-Arzt, Dr. Toric. As a physician specially recognized by the German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV), he coordinates the care of accident victims and ensures that diagnostics, treatment, and aftercare comply with legal requirements.

The practice covers a broad spectrum of orthopedic services—from arthrosis and joint treatment to pain and sports medicine, as well as pediatric orthopedics and hand surgery. State-of-the-art diagnostics, individual therapy plans, and a balanced interplay of conventional and innovative methods form the basis of every treatment.

Through close collaboration with the other departments in the building—including Anesthesia, ENT, Radiology, Surgery, and Neurology—patients benefit from short pathways and coordinated processes. Surgical procedures can also be performed at the Mediceum Klinik Landstuhl, while a cooperation with the Nardini Klinikum Landstuhl exists for more complex cases.
